The Windham Bomber Athletic Hall of Fame honors former athletes who achieved excellence through competition, coaches who have made a difference
in the lives of their athletes and supporters of the athletic program.

dave jDave Jett......Basketball 1974-1975 Lettered Team went to Regional Finals 1975-1976 85% Free Throws, 17 Points Average Lettered, Co-Captain with Larry Jett All Portage County League State Semi-Finalist Baseball 1975 Lettered District Finalist 1976 Lettered All Portage County Leage All District Tri-Captain 1979 Batting Champion-AA League All-Star Team MVP 1980 All-Star Team Runner-Up Batting Champion 1978-1979 Coached Windham Girls' Varsity Basketball. First winning season. Advanced to Sectional Finals. Softball 1981-1997 Six-time Tony Sabino (MVP) winner. Only person to win this award more than once. 1985 National Champions 1988 National Champions 1990 Third Place in World Series 1996 Runner-Up National Champions 1988 - 1990 - 1996 All World Team Triple Crown Winner (Homeruns, RBI's and Batting Average). Homerun leader each year in the league since 1981. David graduated 5th in his class in 1976 receiving the following awards: Most Outstanding Senior Boy, Most Athletic, Boys State, and Honor Society.

 

 

darrell fDarrell Fall showed strong athletic performances and team accomplishments during his high school athletic career. Darrell participated on Windham's last football and baseball County Championship Teams, in which he played a major role on both teams. He attended Heidelberg College for two years where he played football. He then went on to serve four years in the United States Air Force. The following are some of Darrell's achievements and honors: Football 1, 2, 3, 4 Football Letter Winner 2, 3, 4 Baseball 1, 2, 3, 4 Baseball Letter Winner 1, 2, 3, 4 Basketball 1 1st Team All-County in football and baseball 1st Team All-District in football and baseball All-Area 1st Team in football All-State 3rd Team in football Four times Most Valuable Player in football games Senior Year Most Valuable Player Senior Tri-Captain in football Who's Who Among High School Football Players Scholar-Athlete Winner in football and baseball four years Scholar-Athlete Award - Portage County Principals Asso. Quarterback and Placekicker in Senior Bowl Game All-Area Senior Athlete of the Year 1987 Career passing yards 2,788 and 29 touchdown passes School record for most touchdown passes (24) in a season School record for most passing yards (1,978) in a season U.S. Army Reserve National Scholar/Athlete Award.

 

 

doreen mDoreen Marcial....Basketball 1975-1977 Lettered three years Team Captain two years Most Valuable Player two years PCL All Star Team Best Foul Shooter Award - 75% Tournament Game High 22 points Volleyball 1977 Lettered Senior Year Cheerleading 1973-1977 Lettered four years. Captain 1976-77 Softball (Summer) County All-Star two years Doreen received the Most Outstanding Senior Girl Award her senior year. Doreen went to Slippery Rock University where she was the first woman to broadcast a men's basketball game on the college radio station. She was also the first female Sports Director of WRCK-AM.
